AIM's main offices in Corning and Elmira are open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Fridays through Labor Day. We are meeting with consumers by appointment only, and visitors are required to wear masks. Thank you.

Community Nutrition Program

The Community Nutrition Program provides food and basic goods to people in need up to twice a month, free of charge. Consumers can order from a regularly updated menu of available items. Both pick-up and delivery are available.

We help people overcome barriers to independence, understand their rights, and access benefits. We also push for systemic change.

Nursing Home Advocacy and Transitions

We advocate for nursing home residents, help them transition to the community and coordinate the services they need to live independently.

Our home care programs allow seniors and people with disabilities to choose, train and supervise personal assistants to help them live independently.

Assistive Technology

Assistive equipment and technology loans, from wheelchairs and ramps to communication devices. Delivery and device demonstrations are available.

Service Access, Self-Direction, Community Habilitation, and Family Support Services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Supported Employment

We help people with disabilities develop work skills and connect with employers. We also provide job coaching and ongoing supports.

Housing for seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities who are facing homelessness, with support services available to residents.

Service Coordination, Independent Living Skills Training, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, and Community Integration Counseling for people with traumatic brain injuries.

Information, options counseling, and referral to a wide array of long-term services and supports to help seniors and people with disabilities remain at home.

Insurance Navigation

AIM’s navigators provide free enrollment assistance for the New York State of Health insurance marketplace.

Support for individuals and families impacted by alcoholism and drug addiction; linkage to treatment and recovery programs.

AIM provides education, advocacy, information and referral to help military veterans achieve their goals of independence.
