AIM’s offices are closed to the public until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we are continuing to provide programs and services to the community, and we are meeting with consumers by appointment only. Staff can be reached during business hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, call (607) 962-8225.

We help people overcome barriers to independence, understand their rights, and access benefits. We also push for systemic change.

We advocate for nursing home residents, help them transition to the community and coordinate the services they need to live independently.

Service Access, Self-Direction, Community Habilitation, and Family Support Services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Consumer-Directed Home Care

Our home care programs allow seniors and people with disabilities to choose, train and supervise personal assistants to help them live independently.

Assistive Technology

Assistive equipment and technology loans, from wheelchairs and ramps to communication devices. Delivery and device demonstrations are available.

Supported Employment

We help people with disabilities develop work skills and connect with employers. We also provide job coaching and ongoing supports.

Supportive Housing

Housing for seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities who are facing homelessness, with support services available to residents.

Traumatic Brain Injury

Service Coordination, Independent Living Skills Training, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, and Community Integration Counseling for people with traumatic brain injuries.

AIM’s navigators provide free enrollment assistance for the New York State of Health insurance marketplace.
