Youth social-development classes begin Jan. 5

ELMIRA | AIM’s next Youth Social Skill Development Program course will begin Jan. 5.

The six-session course is designed to help youths with disabilities learn the necessary social and communication skills to live independently in the community. The course is open to youths ages 16-21 who live at home and have Office for People with Developmental Disabilities eligibility.

Classes will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Jan. 5-20 at AIM’s Elmira office, which is located inside the EOP building, 650 Baldwin St.

The program is free. The deadline to register is Jan. 4.
