Social-skills class for youth begins Sept. 19

ELMIRA | A social-skills course for youth with developmental disabilities will begin Sept. 19.

The four-session course will be from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 19, 20, 26 and 27. All classes will be held at AIM's Elmira office, 350 W. Church St.

The course will focus on the development of social and communication skills. It's open to youths ages 14-21 who live at home and have Office for People with Developmental Disabilities eligibility.

Participation is free. Registration is due by Sept. 15.
