AIM navigators available at area hospitals

Feb. 1, 2018

AIM Independent Living Center has health insurance navigators at hospitals in Chemung, Steuben, Schuyler and Allegany counties.

AIM’s Navigator Program helps people enroll in coverage through the NY State of Health online marketplace. The program, funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Health, is free, confidential and has no ties to any insurance companies.

AIM’s navigators take appointments at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira; Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath; Schuyler Hospital Primary Care in Montour Falls; Cuba Memorial Hospital in Cuba; and Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, among other community locations.

Navigators’ hours at area hospitals vary. Those in need of coverage for themselves or their families should ask hospital staff or call AIM Navigator Program Coordinator Breanna Wilson at (607) 962-8225, ext. 118 to schedule an appointment.
